Steven Fox, MD, MSc's Bio
Steven Fox, MD, MSc, is an assistant research professor in the USC Mann School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences's Department of Pharmaceutical and Health Economics. He is trained in internal medicine, pediatrics, public health and quantitative policy analysis. His research focuses on methods to improve health outcomes through innovative use of available data. This includes using real-time predictive analytic techniques to identify high-risk patients so that healthcare resources can be reallocated to them dynamically. He is also actively investigating improved decision analysis methods to enhance the uptake of new clinical evidence into practice.
Fox previously worked as a policy analyst at the RAND Corporation, a consulting specialist for the Los Angeles County Public Health System, and a financial analyst and project manager for a private investment group.
