Sanaz Dabiri, PhD's Bio
Sanaz Dabiri is a Neuropsychologist working as a postdoctoral scholar at the USC Schaeffer Center for Health Policy & Economics. She is part of the Alzheimer’s Trial Recruitment Innovation Lab (ATRIL). She is interested in understanding disparities in the incidence of dementia by identifying psychosocial risk factors and biomarkers that can ultimately advance treatment. Her research will investigate successful factors contributing to the retention of underrepresented populations in ADRD clinical trials.
Sanaz received her Ph.D. from the Neuropsychology program at Howard University (2022). Her dissertation focused on examining psychological and neurobiological mechanisms involved in the relationship between loneliness and cognitive decline among older adults. She received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of South Florida (2016).
