Melissa A. Frasco is an epidemiologist with a diverse background in observational research spanning comparative effectiveness, pharmacovigilance, pharmacogenetics, decision analytic cost-effectiveness modeling, and value of health technologies. Frasco has experience across academia, government, and industry. Her research interests include utilizing real-world data to provide evidence on the clinical and economic dimensions of value of medical innovation.

Frasco received her PhD in Epidemiology from the Keck School of Medicine of USC and her BS in Biokinesiology from the University of Michigan. She was recognized for her work in HIV-related diabetes by receiving the Young Investigator’s Award for the Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections (CROI) in 2013 and was a symposium speaker for the 21st International AIDS conference in Durban, South Africa in 2016.
