Information Session for Schaeffer Center Pilot Funding

Join us on Tuesday, January 12 to learn more about upcoming pilot funding opportunities through Schaeffer Center. Our experts will share information about each opportunity and answer questions about the applications process and programs. Please see the below pilot funding opportunities that will be reviewed during the information session:

• Roybal Center for Behavioral Interventions in Aging: Proposals for pilot projects that involve randomized controlled trials (RCTs) are currently being accepted. If approved for funding by the National Institute on Aging (NIA), the pilots would receive support during the period June 1, 2021-May 31, 2022. Applications from senior and junior researchers from academic and research institutions focused on the consequences of current patterns of practice and the development of interventions that will improve care delivery, the quality of care, and its value to aging adults are encouraged. Initial proposal description should be submitted by January 22. More information can be found here.
• Center for Advancing Sociodemographic and Economic Study of Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias (CeASES-ADRD): The USC Center for Advancing Sociodemographic and Economic Study of Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias (CeASES-ADRD), is currently accepting applications to fund one-year research pilot projects. Applications from scholars at all stages of their research career interested in social science research related to ADRD are invited to apply. Application deadline is February 5. • USC Alzheimer’s Disease Resource Center for Minority Aging Health Economics Research: The program provides mentorship to USC AD-RCMAR scholars in multidisciplinary training, launching new lines of research, and tracking and evaluating success of pilot investigations. Application deadline is February 26.
