Jason Millman

Jason Millman is Director of Communications at the USC Schaeffer Institute. He joined the Institute in 2024 after covering health care policy as a journalist for nearly 15 years, primarily in Washington, D.C. He was most recently health care editor at Axios and was previously deputy health care editor at Politico, where he shaped coverage of major storylines like Affordable Care Act implementation, drug pricing and the pandemic. He also served in communications roles at KFF and UCLA Health. Jason has a bachelor’s degree in print journalism from Boston University.
