Eleanor Liu, PhD, MPH's Bio

Eleanor Liu is a research scientist on the Value of Life Science Innovation (VLSI) team led by Karen Van Nuys. Her previous research examined the economic burden of colorectal cancer treatment across age groups and the cost effectiveness of liquid biopsy as an innovative screening technology.  Eleanor completed her doctoral fellowship with Bristol Myers Squibb, where she engaged in a diverse range of HEOR studies, including background therapy justification, market estimation, regulatory approval preparation, non-medical switching, and identification of knowledge gaps in therapeutic areas. Through her training and fellowship experiences, she has gained a strong passion for drug pricing and reimbursement research.

She holds a PhD in Health Policy and Management from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and an MPH from George Washington University.
