The National Academy of Social Insurance and the USC Schaeffer Center are co-hosting an afternoon seminar and networking reception. This free educational event aims to provide a broad look at policy issues such as: innovative strategies for cost reduction, barriers for underserved populations, stabilizing the individual market, and options for financing. Experts will discuss national health programs—including the Affordable Care Act, Medicaid, and Medicare—and will incorporate lessons from comparative international examples. This event is geared towards public policymakers, community, business, and philanthropic leaders, journalists, graduate students, and other interested stakeholders.
