Ellen Rudy, PhD

Ellen Rudy, PhD, is western regional director of quality operations and popular health at Molina Healthcare — a multistate, managed-care organization that serves individuals and families who receive their care through Medicaid, Medicare and other government-funded programs.

She previously worked in the STD/HIV Division of the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, working closely with the Los Angeles LGBT Center and the AIDS Healthcare Foundation. She specializes in developing innovative partnerships within the private, academic and public health arenas to increase access to programs and services among vulnerable populations and to evaluate population health strategies that engage vulnerable populations to improve their health.

She earned a PhD in epidemiology from UCLA and completed a postdoctoral fellowship jointly sponsored by the RAND Corporation and the UCLA Department of Health Services Research.
