Healthcare Markets Initiative

The Healthcare Markets Initiative (HMI) at the USC Schaeffer Center is a multidisciplinary research program that aims to improve the efficiency and quality of healthcare delivery in the U.S. The researchers focus on market-based solutions to health policy challenges.

Training

The Healthcare Markets Initiative supports pre- and post-doctoral students who are interested in economics and healthcare markets. These students work with faculty on research projects and receive mentorship and support in their studies. Current students involved with HMI are listed below.
