Julie Carl Cho, MFA

Julie Carl Cho is excited to join the Leonard B. Schaeffer Center for Health Policy and Economics as the new Managing Director.

Most recently, she was at the Keck School of Medicine of USC providing administrative and programmatic support to the Dean and the Vice Dean for Research. In this capacity, she worked on projects such as the KSOM Strategic Plan, KSOM Intranet, joint cGMP facility, Clinical Data Warehouse, and various pilot funding programs. Additionally, she worked closely with the KSOM Marketing and Communications team to provide remarks, memos, and messages to the Dean. Prior to her work at the KSOM Office of the Dean and Research, Julie oversaw research events and the creation of the Annual Report at the Zilkha Neurogenetic Institute.

Julie holds a BA in Ethnic Studies from University of California, Berkeley and an MFA in Creative Writing from The New School.
