About Seth Freedman:

Dr. Seth Freedman specializes in health economics and health policy with his research primarily focusing on the causes and effects of technology diffusion and utilization in health care. He joined the IU faculty in 2013. Currently, Freedman is exploring how factors such as past public health insurance expansions, payment system changes, and hospital system ownership impact hospital technology adoption decisions. He plans to continue to pursue these interests in the context of recent health reform and its impact on the healthcare delivery system. More about Freedman here.
