​Dr. Etienne Gaudette joins the Schaeffer Center Faculty

Dr. Étienne Gaudette has joined the Schaeffer Center as Assistant Research Professor in the School of Pharmacy.  Dr. Gaudette will also serve as Policy Director of USC’s Roybal Center for Health Policy Simulation.

Dr. Gaudette has just completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Schaeffer Center. He graduated with a Ph.D. in economics from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) in 2013.

Dr. Gaudette’s research focuses on health economics, economics of aging, microsimulation methods and applied macroeconomics. His dissertation uses theory and computational methods to study the demand for care and predict policy outcomes in public healthcare systems and in the United States. His current research at the Schaeffer Center uses simulation approaches to study the health and economic impact of health policy and medical innovation.
