Étienne Gaudette, Ph.D is a Research Assistant Professor with the USC School of Pharmacy and the Policy Director of the USC Roybal Center for Health Policy Simulation. Dr. Gaudette graduated with a Ph.D in economics from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) in 2013.
Dr. Gaudette’s research focuses on health economics, economics of aging, microsimulation methods and applied macroeconomics. His dissertation uses theory and computational methods to study the demand for care and predict policy outcomes in public healthcare systems and in the United States. His current research at the Schaeffer Center uses simulation methods to study the health and economic impact of health policy and medical innovation.
